You are an operator, a soldier of the secret special forces of your country specialized in the elimination of all kinds of infected and strange beasts that pose a threat to national security.

As you advance in your mission you discover uncomfortable truths that will make you think and even change your mind about your current mission.

They Want You  is a single player FPS, developed by José Antonio Ros Jiménez, Valastir.

A novice developer and newcomer in the world of indie game development. :P

The first build was developed in 2 months in 2021,learning everything from 0 (Blender , Unity, and C#) with the help of GameDev.tv courses and dozens of Youtube tutorials.

The current build has been developed in 2 months(yes, again, the same time after 2 years), all code has been rewritten and it uses the lastest HDRP version from Unity, which is a bit demanding.

It includes an overall improvement over the last build.

The game currently has 1 level. The goal of the level is to get to the source of the infection and find out how it originated.

• X [Keyboard] , D-Pad/Left [Gamepad]->Attachments (Menu not supported by gamepad, also Work In Progress except for the flashlight)
• H [Keyboard], D-Pad/Down [Gamepad] -> Heal when required item is available.
• Shift x 2 [Keyboard], ButtonEast  [Gamepad] -> Dash
• Ctrl[Keyboard] , Right Stick Press  [Gamepad] -> Crouch
• Crouch when running -> Slide
• Space[Keyboard] , Button  South [Gamepad] -> Jump
• 0 - 8 [Keyboard] , Button North/Triangle/Y [Gamepad] -> SwitchWeapon (When obtained):
  • 0 -> Fists
  • 1 -> Beretta 92 Pistol
  • 2 -> SCAR-L Rifle
  • 3 -> Shotgun
• Left Mouse Click[Keyboard], Right Trigger  [Gamepad] -> Shoot
• Right Mouse Click[Keyboard], Left Trigger  [Gamepad] -> Aim
• Shift [Keyboard],  Left Stick Press[Gamepad] ->  Run
• E[Keyboard] / West Button  [Gamepad] -> Interact
• Esc[Keyboard] ,Start [Gamepad] -> Pause/Menu

Personally, I recommend playing it in Medium Quality , 1080p to achieve more than 60FPS with modern hardware.

'They Want You' es un FPS - Single Player, desarrollado por José Antonio Ros Jiménez, Valastir. Un desarrollador novato y recién iniciado en el mundo del desarrollo indie de videojuegos. :P

La primera build fue desarrollada en 2 meses en 2021, aprendiendo todo desde 0 (Blender , Unity, y C#) con la ayuda de cursos de GameDev.tv y docenas de tutoriales de Youtube.

La versión actual ha sido desarrollada en 2 meses (sí, de nuevo, el mismo tiempo después de 2 años), todo el código ha sido reescrito y utiliza la última versión HDRP de Unity, que es un poco exigente.

Incluye una mejora general sobre la última versión.

El juego tiene actualmente 1 nivel. El objetivo del nivel es llegar a la fuente de la infección y averiguar cómo se originó.
